Thankfully there are some pretty great apps and websites around that not only allow us to search our current area for the best fuel prices, but they can also give us great per litre discounts on petrol too!
Some of these handy apps even give deals off food, entertainment and more.

Fuel Comparison Sites to find Cheap Petrol
Fuelcheck is a NSW government run app that provides real-time information on petrol prices. You can filter by petrol type and location. The app (or website) will show a map showing the prices for your chosen fuel type in a given location.
With this app it is really easy to save on the cost of filling up, just by heading to a different petrol station.

Petrol Spy is similar to Fuelcheck in that it gives information on petrol prices within a given area. However, it is a crowd sharing app so relies on information from the public on the price of fuel at each service station.

3. 7 Eleven Fuel App
The 7 Eleven Fuel App is a very popular app. To use the app you’ll need to add money onto a 7 Eleven account. Once your account is loaded you can then lock in the best fuel price of a 7 Eleven in your area. You then have 7 days to use the fuel price.
You’ll also get a lot of offers – including FREE ones – for food and drinks

4. myToyota App
All Toyota owners should definitely download this app. Only useable for cars made after 2001, the app offers up to an 8c/litre discount on fuel at participating Caltex Petrol Stations. You’ll get a daily code that you can use with the app.
All you need to do is download the app and register your vehicle – you’ll need your VIN number and batch number (or rego certificate). You can find your batch number on the delivery card which should be located in the Service booklet.
5. Hyundai Auto Link App
The Hyundai Auto Link app provides Hyundai owners a minimum 4c/litre discount at participating Caltex Petrol Stations. You’ll need to use the map in the app to search for the nearest participating Caltex service station to fill up.
6. My NRMA Food and Fuel app
If you are an NRMA roadside member you can download the NRMA app and enjoy fuel savings. Members will receive 5c/litre off Vortex Premium fuels and 3c/litre off regular petrol, diesel and E10, at participating Caltex service stations.
Via the app you’ll also be able to access discounts on parking, dining and local attractions.
7. Costco Membership
To use a Costco Petrol Station you must be a Costco Member (which costs $60.00 per year). You can save up to 12c/litre off the market price by using a Costco Petrol Station (if you are a member). Unfortunately there aren’t many of these petrol stations around, so this one is only useful if you live near or shop regularly at a Costco.

8. RACQ App
RACQ Members receive a 4c/litre discount on fuel at participating Puma Energy and Choice Petrol Stations – just by showing your RACQ Member card.
9. Shell App – Shell V Power Racing Team
The Shell App offers users access to the latest Shell V-Power Racing Team news, social posts, exclusive videos, photos and Shell fuel offers.
