This weekend is dominated by the amazing winter festivals as well as NAIDOC events. The official NAIDOC week goes from 7 to 14 July 2019.

NAIDOC Week Celebrations

Darling Harbour Quarter, NAIDOC Week, INSTACULTURE Exhibition

Darling Quarter is celeberating NAIDOC week in a big way with the launch of a branch new exhibition INSTACULTURE. The exhibition is by renowned Aboriginal artist, A.Professor Wayne Quilliam. Visitors will be inspired by the earth, sky, fresh water and salt water and the six seasons of the Aboriginal culture.

There will also be free children’s workshops hosted in partnership with Koomurri Aboriginal Incursions.

Art Gallery NAIDOC week celebrations

The Art Gallery of NSW is hosting free NAIDOC week events including an exhibition and celebrity talk, drop in and make sessions for kids and live music sessions.

NAIDOC Week Community Festival- Woolloomooloo

Each year during NAIDOC Week, the community of Woolloomooloo proudly hosts the NAIDOC Week Community Festival, located in the heart of Woolloomooloo. This event provides an opportunity for all members of the community to come together to celebrate the rich history, culture, wisdom and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Head down and join in for a day of entertainment, stalls, family friendly activities and tasty food.

Randwick Community Race Day

Celebrate the Randwick Community with The Australian Turf Club, Randwick City Council and The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation at the Randwick Community Race Day. There will be loads of FREE entertainment to enjoy including Pinkfong Baby Shark, superheroes and dances. The Sydney Roosters and Sydney Sixers will be running skills clinics. July mini-train running day at Wascoe Siding, Blaxland
