Berry Island Reserve is surely one of Sydney’s most wonderful places to visit (even with the terrible parking!).
The Island is actually attached to the mainland by a grassed causeway, but it is magical nonetheless to be spend the day on this little piece of paradise!
The reserve features views of the harbour and city. Visitors can also enjoy a playground, walking the Gadyan Track (a 20 minute Aboriginal bushwalk), BBQ’s, swimming and fishing.
Dogs are welcome however they must be kept on a leash in bushland areas and they are not permitted within 10m of the playground.
There are public toilets, BBQs, picnic areas and seats.
