The City of Canada Bay Museum contains items of significance to the inner west area such as clothing, household items, furniture, war memorabilia, office equipment, toys, bric-a-brac, books, documents, photographs from the late 1800’s to the present. Included are items from Arnotts and Bushells.
The museum is aimed towards primary school children and also those with a keen interest in the history of the inner west.
Be sure to check out the website for information on open days of the Walker Estate . This estate includes some of the most significant heritage sites within Canada Bay including Yaralla House (Dame Eadith Walker Hospital), Thomas Walker Convalescent Hospital (Rivendell), and the Yaralla Cottages.
Admission to the City of Canada Bay Museum is FREE (donations appreciated).
