The Hornsby Historical Society Museum is a small museum which depicts life in the 1930’s in the Hornsby region. Located in Kenley Park, Normanhurst the museum is suitable for children and adults who are interested in local history.
The museum features permanent displays including an old kitchen (including corner stove), laundry and bathroom and a schoolroom. There is also a historical corner shop and a range of old fashioned games on display.
The museum also features a pictorial history of the development of the Hornsby Shire as well as some small non-permanent displays.
School groups are welcome with the cost per student $5.00. Students will be encouraged to take part in life in the 1930’s including playing games, going to school, using the bathroom and some cooking!
