Lisgar Gardens are a hidden oasis in the backstreets of Hornsby. Famous for its magnificent camellia displays , the garden is a true delight.
Set on three levels the garden is a tumbling 6.5 acres of plants. The gardens include many camellia’s (some over 60 years old), water features, a pagola and even a fish pond with some hungry looking koi! There are also plenty of water dragons and birds around.
There is an inclinator that can take visitors to the first level, but this must be booked through Hornsby Council before visiting.
The Friends of Lisgar Gardens hold a Teddy Bears Picnic each year in the garden around September. They also hold other community events in the garden throughout the year.
Entry is FREE!
