The Penrith Museum of Printing is dedicated to the collection, conservation, operation and showcasing of letterpress printing machinery and equipment.
Experience a working 1940’s printing establishment. Included are 22 pieces of working printing machinery and equipment as well as a pre-press ‘composing room’ that includes many different type fonts gathered from Australian print shops.
Guests can also participate in a variety of letterpress courses.
Visitors can visit on a Saturday from 10.00am to 2.00pm or tours can be arranged (for more than 10 attendees) on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Tours are $5.00 extra per person.
