Listing Description

The Queen Victoria Building (QVB) was built between 1893 and 1898 to replace the existing Sydney Markets. It was built as a government assistance program in the recession to give out of work tradespeople employment.

Today the QVB is an upmarket shopping precinct. Tours of the QVB are available (additional cost) or why not do a self-guided tour and explore the building with its lead light windows and its beautiful clock tower.
