The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living is dedicated to providing visitors with ideas on how to live sustainably. The Centre itself is entirely self-sufficient. It generates its own power, recycles and reuses all rain and waste water and manages all organic waste on site.
The Centre includes an eco farm, bush tucker garden, living classroom garden, chook pens and a few friendly farm animals including Lulu the pic and Belle the fat tailed sheep.
Visitors can acccess a huge range of information and fact sheets on gardening, eco homes and green energy and workshops.
You can also get ideas from the garden which incorporates a huge range of sustainable gardening principles.

Grab some fresh honey from the Macarthur Bee Keepers or some home made jams and sauces.
The Centre provides home made Devonshire Tea or Lunch from the eco farm for group bookings.
