Sculpture by the Sea 2019
Sculpture by the Sea is set to hit Bondi from 24 October to 10 November 2019.
This iconic exhibition, now in its 23rd year, is the largest free to the public sculpture exhibition in the world. Over 500,000 people each year come along to enjoy this amazing event.
Sculpture by the Sea is totally FREE to see with more than 100 sculptures to view from artists across Australia and the world. The line-up of sculptures for 2019 is yet to be revealed.
The exhibition is located along the Bondi to Tamarama Coastal Walk, and will stretch along 2kms of the walk. To make the most of your visit make sure to check out the exhibition map. There are also suggested routes for people with varying degrees of mobility and for those on bikes.
There are some great free activities on the day for everyone to enjoy including:
- Free weekend Aqualand Artist Talks
- Free Tactile Tours for people with disabilities
- Indoor exhibition ‘Sculpture Inside’ located at Marks Park.
You can also pick up a catalogue to find out about the artists. Catalogues are $12.00 and are available from information marquees.
